Formed in 1981 by guitarists Stuart Adamson and Bruce Watson in the band’s hometown of Dunfermline, Scotland, the classic Big Country sound was further enhanced by the arrival of summer Mark Brzezicki and bassist Tony Butler. The Crossing is the first studio album released by the band in 1983. The album’s classic singles, including Fields of Fire, Chance and their signature song In A Big Country, helped the band to break out worldwide. The album has sold over two million copies, is certified platinum in the UK and Canada, and the band were nominated for three prestigious Grammy Awards in the USA.
In this performance, the current lineup of Bruce Watson (guitars/vocals), Mark Brzezicki (drums/vocals), Jamie Watson (guitars/vocals), Simon Hough (vocals/guitar) and Scott Whitley, will perform hits from this prestigious album and more.
