Green Ginger

10 Nov 18–11 Nov 18

Main House: Seated

This exciting new show by award-winning theatre and puppetry company Green Ginger (Aardman Animations, Welsh National Opera) will propel audiences into a microscopic journey deep within the human body.

In a not-too-distant future, people can buy personal cleaners called Intronauts; miniaturised human workers injected into their bodies in order to carry out essential maintenance.  But what happens if your cleaner discovers your dirty laundry And how much do you actually want to know about what goes on inside?

A madcap story about advancing technology, big syringes and a tiny submarine. Taking its cue from classic sci-fi movies and fuelled by absurd visual comedy and innovative puppetry, Intronauts offers an intoxicating inner body experience that is out of this world. Join us for a trip that really gets under the skin; after all, what could possibly go wrong? Directed by Emma Williams, music by Simon Preston.

Made possible using public funds through Arts Council England Grants for the Arts funding and our co-producers Nordland Visual Theatre.
