SUMMER 2017

Cult movie classics,
gigs, and comedy for
long summer nights

ABOUT:

SUMMER 2017

This season as part of TOM’s FILM CLUB, we’re celebrating the return of Twin Peaks with a screening of TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME – part of our David Lynch Mini-Season – and there’ll be a Twin Peaks-themed after-party following the screening with plenty of black coffee and cherry pie. Other cult offerings include two brilliant but often overlooked musicals, an ALIEN/ALIENS double bill and a Ken Loach mini- season, including a special charity screening of I, DANIEL BLAKE. Tickets for all TOM’s films this season are £6 each, £10 for two or £24 for all nine.

We’re thrilled to be hosting yet more fantastic gigs – from the wistful The Staves through to shambolically virtuoustic troubadour RICHARD DAWSON and the critically-acclaimed THURSTON MOORE GROUP. And we throw our doors open once more for BLUE CAMEL CLUB, Carousel’s wildly successful club night for learning disabled people and their friends.

Instead of cringing about our embarrassing moments and the questionable decisions we sometimes make in life, maybe we should mine them for comedy gold? Comedian KATY BRAND spills all in I WAS A TEENAGE CHRISTIAN– her hit Edinburgh Festival show exploring her self-imposed conversion and total immersion in evangelical Christianity.
