100 DIFFERENT WORDS FOR LOVE is the latest show from Tangram Theatre (Team Viking). It’s a hilarious and heartfelt story of romance, despair and friendship from one of the UK’s most acclaimed storytellers.

FRANKIE VAH is the second verse play from Luke Wright (What I Learned From Johnny Bevan). He’s an amazing poet that tours with the infamous John Cooper Clarke delivering his unique blend linguistic virtuosity and engaging presence to deliver a powerhouse of a performance.

OLD STOCK: A REFUGEE LOVE STORY is a klezmer-folk folktale starring the indelible Ben Caplan (Tom Waits meets Willy Wonka) that fuses theatre and gig to deliver a breathtaking story of two Jewish-Romanian Refugees as they flee their home in search of a fresh start. It’s award-winning, humorously dark and rammed full of energy.

WE CAN TIME TRAVEL is the latest show from Dom Coyote (Songs For The End of The World). Combining live looping, drum machines, and analogue synths, Dom takes us on a sci-fi infused journey starting with a message hidden in a cassette tape. Inspired by HG Wells‘ 1895 novella The Time Machine, think Kate Bush meets Kate Tempest on the set of Back to the Future

POP MUSIC is part gig and part theatre by Bruntwood Prize winner Anna Jordan. It’s an emotionally contagious rollercoaster of a show like no other. A wedding. A free bar. A blast from the past for anyone that’s ever been a d*€k on the dancefloor. From the amazing Paines Plough (Every Brilliant Thing, Hopelessly Devoted, With A Little Bit Of Luck).

INTRONAUTS is the latest show from the amazing Green Ginger (Outpost, Aardman Animations, Welsh National Opera). In the not-too-distant future, tiny people called Intronauts provide a service as personal cleaners. Injected into bodies, they carry out internal maintenance. This is a hilariously madcap and surreal show full of innovative puppetry and absurd visual comedy.

THE ANIMALS AND CHILDREN TOOK TO THE STREETS is a groundbreaking and critically acclaimed piece of theatre from the amazing 1927 (Golem, The Magic Flute, Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea). They are world renowned for their innovative and technically brilliant use of live action and live music combined with superbly drawn animated film to create a world steeped in nostalgia and wry critique. This show tells the story of life in the Bayou Mansions, a run-down and neglected tenement block where perverts and curtain twitchers live on top of each other, where the children run wild. The reviews for this speak for themselves, check them out and make sure you come to this. It’s the perfect alternative show this Christmas!

We look forward to seeing you at one or more of these shows soon!
