Step inside an immersive world of 360° screens, spatial audio, live music and interactive visuals - where sound, movement and imagery shift around you in real time.
The evening will begin with a guided introduction from Flux, inviting you to slow down and explore the surrounding visual world. Plants scanned across the South Coast will grow, dissolve and transform across the screens, accompanied by a live harp performance from Sekinue.
This will lead into the main show from composer and electronic artist kiskadee (Jack Chown), created in collaboration with digital artist Studio Aszyk (Neal Coghlan). Blending field recordings, organic electronic composition and new material from kiskadee’s forthcoming second album, the performance will unfold through spatial audio, allowing sound to move around the room.
At the centre of the experience, a live dancer wearing a motion-capture suit will shape and transform the visuals through their movements. With the imagery responding in real time, the space will continually shift and evolve around the audience.
There’s no set way to experience the evening - settle into a beanbag, sit back and become absorbed in the sound, movement and surrounding visuals.
Flux is a Brighton-based project exploring the power of intentional listening through immersive sound experiences. Its events create space to slow down, listen more deeply and explore how sound can shift the way we feel.
