He was the last person to perform on our stage before we closed our doors in 2020... now, we are thrilled to announce that the award-winning writer, comedian and actor Rob Auton is making his triumphant return as he brings his latest show to TOM.
The Eyes Open and Shut Show is a show about eyes when they are open and eyes when they are shut. With this show, Rob wanted to explore what he could do to himself and others with language when eyes are open and shut. After writing ten shows on specific themes, he wanted to think about what makes him open his eyes and what makes him shut them.
Rob has written ten hit Edinburgh Festival Fringe comedy/theatre/spoken-word shows on specific themes including the colour yellow in The Yellow Show, sleep in The Sleep Show and hair in The Hair Show.
TV credits include Starstruck (BBC), Cold Feet (ITV), The End of the F*cking World (Netflix/Channel 4), Miracle Workers (TBS), The Russell Howard Hour (Sky) and Stand-Up Central With Rob Delaney (Comedy Central).
